What do USASF members say about us?

Parents

Debbie

Excellent course! I could have listened all day. It was motivating! Great instruction!

Melissa

This training covered some very important topics, ones that are sometimes difficult and uncomfortable to discuss. The way the topics were presented was excellent! Everything was very clear and the real life examples were helpful to see how easily our children can become victims. Thank you for putting this together to keep our athletes safe. It even put focus on things I didn't think were dangerous opportunities, and will help me better protect my daughter.

Kristen

I think any opportunity to help keep our child athletes safe and remind both kids and adults of the unfortunate dangers of the world today is a very worthwhile venture. So much of it should be common sense but we always want to believe it can't happen to us. If your efforts help even one child or family avoid a tragedy your efforts have been worthwhile.

Shannon

Training was great! Easy to use and the system is a great teaching tool!

Sara

The awareness brought forward in this educational video was so worth while. I know as a parent, you can never be to safe, and this video reminds us how dangerous situations can arise and it help teach our dancers the dangers that exist and help them recognize them. Thank you!

Sandra

Overall, the training was very well done. There were many important messages in both trainings. Although some might view the examples as "common sense", it was a good reminder for us as parents and for our athletes that they always need to be vigilant regardless of their surroundings. As we get ready to return to a "normal" competition season, we needed to hear this information as we will be in unfamiliar surroundings frequently and much has changed in the world around us in the past two years. I appreciate USASF's desire to keep our athletes safe. Thanks for your dedication to keeping our kids safe!

Julie

Very informational for parents and also my athlete told me what was covered in their presentation. I'm very happy these uncomfortable topics are being discussed.

The training provided a lot of good information and tips on what to look out for. Overall it was very informational.

Brooklynn

I felt it was a good thing to be watching this with my teammates so that we all knew we could feel safe.

Skylar

My training experience was very beneficial! I learned new things, such as bad/good touch and how to use my voice. This is a very uprising issue in All-Star and I am grateful that USASF is bringing it to all the coach's and athlete's attention. Thank you.

I think the information was presented well and effectively! I loved that it was in video format but also included diagrams and breakdowns of the information. You can tell the people who designed this program really cares about the safety of our All Star community.

Harris

Very in depth and eye opening training. "In my competitive years, from being lined up best to worst and having feet or knees slapped for lack of perfection; this training hit really close to home. As a coach, I strive everyday to teach my athletes that they are capable and strong in the body, mind and spirit. It all starts with the words we use. Our thoughts and actions shape our reality, never let anyone take away your power.

Training was quick and informative. Safe at Allstar provides informative training that is geared toward each participant's respective age group or role in allstar cheerleading.

The videos were fantastic! There is absolutely NOTHING - NOT ONE THING - that is more important to us than athlete safety. We appreciate the support, knowledge and tools provided by Safe at Allstar to help facilitate the training for our staff, parents and Allstar members. We feel united in the mission and will continue to do all we can to maintain a Haven where families feel welcome and are safe.
